On our
Ticino extravaganza, Kara and I also spent a day in
Locarno. We took a boat to
Brissago Island and had fun wandering around the island, which was basically all a huge garden.

Kara and I also met one of my flat-mates in Locarno. She is a native of Locarno, and she spends half of the year working there for the
Locarno Film Festival. She showed us around the old city, and we walked down by the lake and had gelato together. Yum!
