Yesterday I got to ride in a helicopter to take samples from and near a thermokarst. More on that later (when I have more time), but I thought I'd post a video from my helo ride so that you can see what it's like here! And, yes, I have a pretty sweet job!

Very cool! I didn't realize there could or would be that many lakes/puddles in the arctic. The most interesting, I think, are the very spirally rivers.
